Job Summary
Assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies including medical gas administration, aerosol treatments, hyperinflation techniques, and mechanical ventilation management. Administer diverse respiratory therapies and manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilation while providing emergency care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement tailored care plans across specialties including NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO. Apply specialized knowledge to recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available with a minimum salary of $36.47/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Maryland State License
- BLS CPR certification
- Minimum two years of experience with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable respiratory care services division
Desired Qualifications
- Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred
