Job Summary
Assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies including medical gas administration, aerosol treatments, hyperinflation techniques, and mechanical ventilation management. Manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation while providing emergency care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement tailored care plans. Apply specialized respiratory care knowledge to recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO settings. Minimum two years of experience with documented clinical and operational systems competency required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Maryland State License
- BLS CPR certification
- Minimum two years of experience with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable respiratory care services division
Desired Qualifications
- Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred
