Job Summary
Assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using medical gas administration, aerosol treatments, hyperinflation techniques, and mechanical ventilation management. Administer diverse therapies including bronchial hygiene while managing both invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Provide emergency care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement tailored care plans across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO specialties. Requires two years of experience with documented competency in respiratory care services, an accredited associate degree, and NBRC RRT certification. Minimum $36.47/hour to $60.21/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Maryland State License
- BLS CPR certification
- Minimum two years of experience with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable respiratory care services division
Desired Qualifications
- Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred
