Job Summary
Lead and oversee Windy Hill Hospital's Respiratory Care Services, including inpatient and outpatient operations. Partner with the Director of Respiratory Care to drive budget planning, long- and short-term strategic initiatives, and process-improvement projects. Manage staff development, program development, and cross-functional committee participation to enhance patient care and customer satisfaction. Provide project management across respiratory care, laboratory, and regulatory activities; ensure staffing alignment, adherence to budget, and delivery of high-quality care while promoting professional growth and development of department staff.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Program Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor’s Respiratory Therapy
- RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or BLS-I)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (or ACLS-I)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Upon Hire Preferred
- NRP-I - NRP Instructor Upon Hire Preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Preferred
- PALS-I - PALS Instructor Upon Hire Preferred
- NBRC-CPFT - Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist Upon Hire Preferred
- NBRC-RPFT - Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist Upon Hire Preferred
- Minimum 3 to 5 years RT experience
- Minimum 2 to 4 years in healthcare supervisory/management experience
- Ability to analyze data and lead process improvements
- Strong communication and leadership skills
