Respiratory Therapy Assistant - Supplemental

Under direct supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist, the Respiratory Therapy Assistant performs basic respiratory therapy procedures and contributes to patient and family care and documentation. The RTA handles airway clearance, administers aerosolized medications, and assists with oxygen therapy administration/transport. Reports to the Director of Respiratory Care through a Respiratory Care Supervisor. Must be actively enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with successful completion of the first year of coursework.
