Respiratory Therapist- WOW- (Night Shift)

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary disorders, including performing patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency and critical care situations. Performs blood gas analysis and ventilation management; works in a multidisciplinary hospital environment. Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) and current Alabama licensure with BLS; NBRC credentials preferred. Schedule includes 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Friday–Sunday) in a full-time role. Pre-employment drug screen is required, with experience in acute care and critical care settings and proficiency in invasive and non-invasive ventilator management. Excellent communication and patient education skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team are essential.
