Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary
Assess residents' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other prescribed respiratory services, including tracheostomy care for complex needs. Monitor progress and notify clinical team members of changes while maintaining accurate documentation. Maintain, inspect, and operate respiratory equipment. Educate residents, families, and staff regarding treatments and equipment usage. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and follow all federal, state, facility, and infection-control policies. Requires current Massachusetts license, CRT or RRT credential, and BLS/CPR certification. Full-time role at Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- CRT or RRT credential
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital setting
- Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory equipment
