Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes and promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families throughout their recovery. This full-time weekend day shift covers Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at a critical illness recovery hospital in Florence, SC. Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and BLS certification, with ACLS required within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
- Weekend Days schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
