Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings; perform clinical assessments, reassessments, and documentation; educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on ventilator use and care; participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions to home; collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes; maintain compliance with HIPAA, PPE, infection control, and regulatory requirements; participate in on-call rotation and pursue ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch
- CPR certification
- Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Nurse with ventilator exposure, Healthcare Respiratory Therapist or HME Respiratory Therapist
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
