Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Ventilator Field Clinician providing respiratory patient care for ventilator patients, including setup, monitoring, discharge planning, and education across alternate care sites. Responsibilities encompass clinical assessments, documentation, coordination with physicians and referrals, PPE/infection-control compliance, and on-call coverage. Requires knowledge of ventilator equipment, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, HIPAA, and ongoing professional development; travel across the service area is expected. Sign-On Bonus Available.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- Must be CPR certified
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
