Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Ventilator provides respiratory patient care to Vent patients across the service area, including assessment, documentation, discharge planning, and education. Responsibilities include urgent and ongoing care across settings, collaboration with physicians and referrals, on-call duties, PPE and infection-control adherence, maintaining patient records per company policy, and staying current with ventilation knowledge and software. Requires an Associate degree in respiratory care, active RT license, CPR certification, at least one year of Vent-related clinical experience, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to travel within the service area, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- Must be CPR certified
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
