Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Full-time. Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders (e.g., asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia); administer medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed; educate patients and families on management and breathing techniques; collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans; monitor patient progress and adjust as needed; respond to emergencies and provide life support in accordance with scope of practice for a Respiratory Therapist.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
