Respiratory Therapist

Performs direct patient care as part of respiratory therapy, including setting up and managing mechanical ventilation, providing emergency care, assisting with CPR and intubations, and monitoring responses to therapy. Educates patients and families about conditions and teaches appropriate disease management techniques. Works under the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director to deliver care aligned with physician orders and approved protocols for patients across applicable age groups in Gainesville, FL.
