Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist on the Night shift (FTE 0.9) at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. Provides top of scope direct patient care in a technologically complex clinical setting, utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care. Practices ventilator management and adaptive pulmonary support across multiple levels of care; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Models proficiency through precepting teammates and welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced environment; contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Includes opportunities for internal growth via clinical ladders and participates in organizational educational and incentive programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC
- State licensure
- BLS through AHA or ARC CPR for the Professional Rescuer (card in-hand before start)
- BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within first year of hire and ongoing thereafter
