Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory health and develop treatment plans based on specific needs. Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulizer treatments while monitoring progress to adjust plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care techniques, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals for comprehensive care. Document all patient interactions accurately and adhere to safety protocols. Requires a Bachelor's degree, current state license, and minimum two years of geriatric experience. Full-time role with weekend rotations and a salary of $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients
- Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekend rotations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document patient care accurately
- Current CPR certification
