Job Summary
Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in the vent unit. Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians while monitoring and evaluating patient responses to make necessary adjustments. Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and ensure compliance with all regulatory policies. This role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, current state licensure, and at least two years of experience in a vent unit or acute care setting. Candidates must hold BLS and ACLS certifications and be able to work nightshifts and every other weekends.
Required Qualifications

- Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a vent unit or acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work nightshifts and every other weekend rotation
