Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care, including various imaging and radiologic procedures, while managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management in a technologically complex setting. Precept new staff on imaging and clinical processes to model proficiency within a multidisciplinary team. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care through continuous improvement projects. This nights shift role at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO, offers a 13-week assignment with extension options. Candidates must hold an RRT certification, one year of experience, and current ACLS and BLS credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- One year of experience
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
