Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – CRT delivers diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacologic respiratory care under physician orders, including administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, and airway maintenance. Responsibilities include patient assessments, implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring accurate documentation, promoting safety and infection control, coordinating with the healthcare team, and responding to emergencies. Requires strong communication and skills in EMR documentation, regulatory safety standards, and adherence to demonstrated respiratory care protocols. Certifications required include CRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, with NRP and STABLE as applicable for NICU roles; 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred. Location: Key West, FL, US.
Required Qualifications
- CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation if working in the NICU required
- STABLE - Neonatal Certification if working in the NICU required
