Job Summary
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to perform respiratory therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluations for residents with pulmonary deficiencies. Review resident assignments, vitals, and treatment history while conducting focused interviews to assess physiologic and psychosocial changes. Collect, analyze, and interpret data on lung capacity, oxygen, and carbon dioxide levels, documenting diagnoses and care plans in Point Click Care. Report status changes to nursing directors and physicians, ensuring adherence to emergency, safety, and infection control procedures. Full-time, 5 days a week, 8-hour rotating shifts covering 7 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice in Colorado
- Active CRT or RRT credential
- Associate degree from an accredited school
- One (1) year respiratory experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- Knowledgeable user of Point Click Care (PCC)
- Coverage needed 7 days/week
- 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends, regularly schedule 40 hours/workweek
