Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. Performs clinical assessments, develops and reviews care plans, educates patients and caregivers on ventilator units and equipment, coordinates with physicians and referral sources, participates in discharge planning, ensures HIPAA and infection-control compliance, and maintains complete documentation to support quality tracking and regulatory requirements. Role requires an Associate’s degree in an AMA-approved respiratory program, valid license, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical experience with ventilator-exposed patients; includes on-call rotation and field duties with documentation and program development support.
