Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders by setting up and operating respiratory care equipment under physician direction. Monitor each resident's physiological responses to therapy while managing emergency situations and working under stress. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification and apply knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations. Requires 2-4 years of direct respiratory therapy experience and a valid state license. Full-time 12-hour shift with competitive wages starting at $45.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy
- Current Respiratory License in the state
- Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations
- Current and valid CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple residents
- Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
