• •Must be able to respond effectively to medical or behavioral emergencies
• •Must be able to conduct assessments at admission, daily, and as needed
• •Must be able to supervise residents under special precautions
• •Must be able to maintain and monitor emergency medical equipment and supplies
• •Must be able to complete all incident and progress reports accurately and in a timely manner
• •Must be able to deliver all respiratory care in compliance with Respiratory Care Board regulations
• •Must be able to administer respiratory treatments and therapies safely and effectively
• •Must be able to manage oxygen delivery systems and ventilator care
• •Must be able to perform airway management and tracheal suctioning
• •Must be able to interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) results and initiate interventions
• •Must be able to administer prescribed medications accurately per protocol
• •Must be able to communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and staff promptly
• •Must be able to participate in shift handoffs, walking rounds, and interdisciplinary meetings
• •Must be able to document all treatments, outcomes, and resident responses in records
• •Must be able to participate in the development and review of each resident's IPP
• •Must be able to attend case conferences and care plan reviews
• •Must be able to contribute to goal-setting, skill development, and behavioral planning
• •Must be able to promote a culture of safety, quality, and compliance across all care activities
• •Must be able to perform light housekeeping, laundry, and personal property organization
• •Must be able to inspect fire safety and adaptive equipment routinely
• •Must be able to report and correct safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
• •Must be able to support infection control and universal precaution procedures
• •Must be able to assist residents with ADLs including lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• •Must be able to implement and monitor Individual Program Plans (IPPs)
• •Must be able to apply behavior support and positive intervention strategies
• •Must be able to collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• •Must be able to act as a resident advocate, safeguarding individual rights and well-being
• •Must be able to facilitate skill-building and independence in daily routines
• •Must be able to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and developmental growth through structured activities
• •Must be able to support occupational, recreational, vocational, and educational programs
• •Must be able to encourage resident participation in community and therapeutic activities
• •Must be able to display empathy and professionalism with residents and families
• •Must be able to document progress, participation, and behavior in resident records
• •Must be able to provide mentorship and onboarding support to new staff members
• •Must be able to observe, document, and report physical and behavioral changes promptly

• •Must be able to deliver Active Treatment and positive interventions in accordance with ICS standards
• •Must be able to use effective communication, documentation, and time management skills

• •Must be able to attend a minimum of four (4) ICS meetings annually
• •Must be able to complete required continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain licensure
• •Must be able to participate in mandatory and ongoing training programs for skill enhancement

• •Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills

• •Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role
