Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT) needed for sub-acute long-term care unit on NOC or DAY shift. Performs Respiratory Care Practitioner duties under Pulmonologist and Lead RT, operating respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include maintaining artificial airways, weaning ventilated patients, providing oxygen therapy, aerosol/DPI treatments, tracheostomy tube changes, and CPT; monitor pulse oximetry; assist in CPR; educate patients and families; and serve as a team leader with clinical manager.
