Job Summary
Provide respiratory therapy treatments and manage oxygen delivery, ventilator support, and airway management for rehabilitation patients. Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators, perform arterial blood gas sampling, monitor and address pain impacting function, ensure adherence to sterilization procedures, and accurately document all patient data in the medical record. Demonstrates strong clinical skills in cardiopulmonary services and coordinates with physicians to optimize patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of OH
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
- Current CPR certification
- Three or more years of experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred
