Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist RT needed to provide direct respiratory care to residents in a skilled/long-term nursing care facility. Not traveling; full/part-time and PRN opportunities available. Responsibilities include conducting pulmonary function tests, administering prescribed respiratory therapies, operating ventilators and related equipment, performing bronchopulmonary drainage, monitoring patient responses, coordinating discharge planning, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health care staff. Must have current state-licensed RT, CPR certification, and strong knowledge of respiratory techniques, equipment, and geriatric care; leadership and organizational skills desired.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid Licensed Respiratory Therapist issued in the state where the person will practice
- CPR certification
