Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support provides specialized respiratory care to ventilator dependent patients in home and alternate care settings, including clinical assessments, discharge planning, patient/caregiver education on ventilator use, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes outside the hospital. Requires an AMA-approved respiratory program associate degree, one year of clinical experience with ventilator exposure, current RT license in serviced states, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Travel involved; field clinician with in-office duties; schedule 8am-5pm or 8am-6:30pm; Santa Rosa, CA. Salary range $30-$46/hour, plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Nurse with ventilator exposure, Healthcare Respiratory Therapist or HME Respiratory Therapist
- Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch
- CPR certification
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
