Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II delivers patient care in complex, critical care settings with ventilator management, Aerosolized medications, and airway management, while educating patients, families, and staff; collaborates with the health care team, and participates in safety, quality improvement, and education initiatives. The role requires independent decision-making, interpretation of ABG, and involvement in invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures, with a strong focus on compassionate, evidence-based care in a hospital environment. Limited to part-time schedule (24 hours/week) with Day shifts in Marietta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate's Degree (A.S.) degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — Instructor
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) — Instructor or ACLS Provisional
