Job Summary
Manage respiratory equipment orders, assessments, and patient education for home-based clients across multiple Ohio locations. Document referrals, troubleshoot devices, and instruct patients on proper equipment use while maintaining compliance with utilization and follow-up tasks. Act as a liaison between physicians, families, and the company to adjust care plans and coordinate referrals. Rotate to various branches to support operations, assist with staffing coverage, and oversee clinical functions including preventative maintenance scheduling. Work a standard 40-hour weekday schedule with an on-call rotation and flexibility for weekend or after-hours coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Respiratory care experience and/or home care experience in the field of respiratory care
- Thorough knowledge and skills related to Home Medical Equipment field
- Ability to effectively manage all respiratory products provided by the company
- Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of people resulting in constructive working relationships
- People-sensitive characteristics with a genuine desire to help others
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, manage records, and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensuring accuracy in data collection and record-keeping
- Providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive client experience
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
- Ability to cater to diverse customer base
- Experience with relevant software, scheduling tools, and data entry software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be willing and able to travel within the assigned territory and provide coverage for area branches as operational needs dictate
- Must be willing to work after normal business hours and on weekends
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently
- Must have ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle throughout shift
- Must be able to work in various conditions and lift equipment in all-weather types
- Must be able to lift files or light equipment up to 10–20 lbs.
- Must be able to walk/move throughout the office to meet with staff
- Must be able to sit at a desk and frequently use a computer, keyboard, and phone
- Must have high manual dexterity
- Must have clear verbal communication skills
- Must be able to perform each essential duty applicable to their responsibilities satisfactorily
