Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) opportunity at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. Responsibilities include evaluating respiratory needs and developing/implementing the Respiratory Care Plan, operating acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation, maintaining department and hospital records, and performing procedures with care and empathy. Requires Florida licensure as an RRT, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire. Education from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program is required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, tolerate a stressful environment, and possess strong customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
