Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures, critical care protocols, blood gas analysis, and equipment maintenance while providing patient education. Operate within Piedmont Healthcare's internal agency pool to fill critical staffing needs across 23 hospitals in Georgia. Complete assignments with 13-week commitments and 36-hour work weeks, including weekends and holidays. Maintain RRT licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Advance skills in diverse environments through flexible job assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Minimum of two years of work experience in performing professional respiratory duties within area(s) of specialty
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- NRP certification if practicing in NICU
