Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) delivers respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care across all patient populations. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management), implementing patient-specific respiratory care plans, and documenting care in the EMR. May serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois; full-time, non-exempt position with night shifts; relocation assistance available for candidates relocating from outside Illinois. Compensation is $37.00–$49.80 per hour plus shift differentials; equivalent to $76960–$103584 annually. Qualifications: State RCP license and NBRC RRT certification required; HS diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
