Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Full Time Permanent

Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to in-patients and out-patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Monitor and wean oxygen therapy, manage artificial ventilation, draw and analyze arterial blood gases, and deliver intermittent therapy as ordered by a physician. Assist with changing artificial airways, review and document all clinical information, and perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to established policies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards while maintaining proficiency with Windows-style applications for patient data entry.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (only for trained therapists working in the NICU)
- Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard
- Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility
