Administer advanced respiratory treatments, perform assessments, and monitor patient responses to ensure effective care. Orients patients to treatment modalities, performs and documents arterial blood gas punctures, and assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned. Manages ventilator settings, airway maintenance, and emergency interventions while evaluating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment. Follows respiratory protocols, ensures proper use of personal protective equipment, and implements written or verbal physician orders accurately. Provides clear documentation of all treatments and assessments, communicates effectively with healthcare teams, and tailors oxygen therapy to meet patient needs across populations.
