Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, promote continuous quality improvement, and teach or counsel patients and families. Work per diem or PRN shifts, including day and night rotations, at a 100-bed facility combining critical illness recovery and acute inpatient rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
