Job Summary
Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen, aerosol, and airway management while managing ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems. Perform pulmonary diagnostics such as ABGs and PFTs, implement patient-specific respiratory care plans, and document care in the EMR. Respond to code blue and rapid response events, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Work in a high-acuity, critical care environment with a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule, earning $37.00 to $49.80 per hour. A state RCP license and RRT certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years experience as an RCP
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree
- ACLS certificate
- NRP certificate
- PALS certificate
