Respiratory Therapist

Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen, aerosol, and airway management while managing ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems. Perform pulmonary diagnostics such as ABGs and PFTs, implement patient-specific respiratory care plans, and document all care in the EMR. Respond to code blue and rapid response events, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes, and may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. This role is situated in a high-acuity, critical care environment within the Cardiopulmonary department at Resurrection Medical Center in the Chicago Metro Area. The position offers a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule with competitive pay ranging from $37.00 to $49.80 per hour, including shift differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates relocating from outside Illinois.
