Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist responsible for initiating and managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation; advanced airway management; administers oxygen and humidified therapies; performs pulmonary function testing; may work in Pulmonary Function Testing Lab, Asthma/COPD/Sleep clinics; requires registration with NS College of Respiratory Therapists and CPR NRPN ACLS certification; travel to other sites may be required; shift mix includes days, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call; permanent full-time position in NS Health system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
- Must hold/maintain registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
- Must hold/maintain certification in CPR at NRP and ACLS levels
