Job Summary
Administer respiratory therapies in ICU and Emergency department settings, including management of mechanical ventilation and airway care; provide support during intubation as a physician's assistant, participate in CPR, collaborate with respiratory team, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient care; maintain documentation and compliance with standards; requires Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care and NY licensure as CRT or RRT with NBRC recognition; minimum 2 years’ CC experience; may require holidays/weekends. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and up to $20,000 in student loan reimbursement; pay range $35.74-$53.66/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care
- Current New York State license as CRT or RRT
- NBRC recognition
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care setting
- Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist must obtain Registry within 6 months of hire
- ACLS Current
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- S.T.A.B.L.E. within 1 year of hire
- STABLE within 1 year of hire
