Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Relocation Assistance available. Delivers respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management), manages ventilators/BiPAP/CPAP/high-flow systems, performs pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs), implements patient-specific care plans, documents in the EMR, and responds to code blue/rapid responses. May serve as Lead RCP during shifts. Requires RCP license, NBRC RRT, and BCLS; ACLS within 60 days; PALS within 60 days; NRP preferred; HS diploma required with higher degrees preferred. Night shift within a full-time, non-exempt role in a Chicago, IL metro area facility with relocation assistance and potential sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the NBRC required
- 2 years experience as an RCP preferred
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- NRP certificate preferred
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
