Job Summary
Respiratory Therapists provide care across clinical areas from general floors to critical care. Responsibilities include assessing patients to prevent, detect, monitor and manage disease and complications; measuring lung capacity; offering diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on analyses; and applying knowledge of respiratory care equipment. The role supports a patient-centered team with opportunities for advancement, sign-on incentives, and flexible scheduling in a hospital setting (Bemidji, MN).
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program
- Minimum associate degree or equivalent per NBRC
- Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials with NBRC
- BLS certification; site-specific specialty credentials such as NRP, ACLS, PALS
- Commitment to orientations, competency validations, and ongoing in-servicing
