Job Summary
Perform patient assessments pre, during, and post procedure for pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups, demonstrating competency in all respiratory modalities and equipment. Execute invasive procedures per guidelines, endorse critical results, and maintain quality control on pulmonary function testing and blood analyzers. Follow disinfection protocols, manage ventilation modes and weaning strategies, and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and patients. Assume Charge Person roles as indicated and complete shift documentation. Work night shifts (7p-7am) Monday through Friday with every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care education program
- NJ Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
- Shift working, 7p-7am Monday to Friday, and every other weekend
- Full-Time (FT)
Desired Qualifications
- PALS and NRP
- At least two years of experience
