Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Perform RT-CRT setups, monitor and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation, draw/analyze/report arterial blood gases and EKGs, deliver intermittent therapy, and assist with airway management. Educate patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans; perform diagnostic procedures; adapt care to patient population; adhere to policy/procedure and compliance standards; flexible schedule with 24/7 coverage; work in a healthcare environment with exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certificate by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- ACLS obtained within 90 days
