Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in-patients and out-patients across age groups; operate RT-CRT setups, monitor and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; draw/analyze/report arterial blood gases and EKGs; deliver intermittent therapy; assist with airway care; and provide education to patients and co-workers per physician orders and policy; requires strong computer skills, effective communication, adaptability to patient age range, and ability to travel between facilities; shift includes nights with a 24/7/holiday/on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- ACLS obtained in 90 days
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
