Job Summary
Provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric; performs RT-CRT setups, monitors and weans oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; conducts arterial blood gas analysis and EKG documentation; delivers intermittent therapy and assists with artificial airway management; educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans; adheres to established policies and procedures and complies with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- NBRC Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
