Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist responsibilities include assessment, therapeutic intervention and education for patients with cardiopulmonary or sleep-disordered conditions; perform assessments, collect and analyze specimens, measure lung capacity, provide treatment guidance, and participate in interdisciplinary care plans. Must hold NBRC-credentialed RRT, active state licensure, BLS certification, and site-specific credentials (NRP/ACLS/PALS). Located at Marsh Med Ctr Eau Claire, WI, with full-time 12-hour day shifts; perihuman resources benefit package and potential sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program is required; minimum associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Must have current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
- Must have Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials as attained through the NBRC and maintain active status according to credentialing requirements.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Must obtain site-specific specialty credential(s) such as NRP, ACLS, PALS, etc.
