Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver respiratory therapy procedures per NJ Board of Respiratory Therapy standards. Responsibilities include administering oxygen and aerosol therapy, monitoring mechanical ventilation, and conducting cardiopulmonary evaluations. Must maintain thorough documentation, communicate effectively with healthcare staff, and provide patient education. The role requires a commitment to patient care, infection control procedures, and participation in medical rounds. Ideal candidates are recent graduates from an accredited program, hold a current NJ license, and possess BLS certification. Competitive hourly wage plus evening, night, and weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Current NJ license as Respiratory Therapist
- CRT certified by the NRBC
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of critical care experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
