Job Summary
Administer respiratory care as ordered, document all information in patient records, and assist during emergency bronchoscopy procedures. Intubate and manually ventilate patients during emergencies, perform weaning parameters and spirometry, and conduct arterial punctures with result interpretation. Maintain patient airways through suctioning and tube management, provide in-service training to staff and families, and respond to Code Blue situations with CPR. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot oxygen delivery devices, pulse oximeters, and ventilators while performing daily preventive maintenance on blood analyzers. Verify physician orders for completeness and appropriateness. Night shift, full-time (36 hours per week), hourly pay range $46.07-$56.23.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status
- ACLS Certification
- Night Shift
- Full-Time (36 hours per week)
