Job Summary
Administer respiratory care as ordered by the physician, including intubation, extubation, and manual ventilation during emergencies. Perform daily preventive maintenance and quality control for arterial blood analyzers, operate oxygen delivery devices and ventilators, and respond to Code Blue situations with CPR. Provide in-service training to patients, family, and clinical staff while verifying physician orders and documenting all required information in patient records. Work night shifts, full-time (36 hours per week), at Community Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status
- ACLS Certification
- Night Shift
- Full-Time (36 hours per week)
