Job Summary
Provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for neonatal to geriatric patients. Performs RT-CRT set-ups, monitors and weans oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; draws and reports ABGs and EKGs; delivers intermittent therapy and assists with artificial airways; educates patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans; performs diagnostic procedures and adapts care to patient population; adheres to policies, safety and regulatory standards; must be able to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekends, holidays).
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
