Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in-patients and out-patients, ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Responsibilities include operating RT-CRT setups, monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation, drawing and reporting arterial blood gases and EKGs, delivering intermittent therapy, and assisting with airway management. Educate patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans; perform diagnostic procedures and adapt care to patient age groups. Must have an Associate's degree and current Respiratory Therapist license in practice, with BLS required and ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Part-time position (24 hours/week) with duties and schedule reflecting 24/7 coverage as needed. Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Education: Associate's Degree (Required)
